These "Restin'" caches are a series of caches that will take you to historical and sometimes forgotten cemeteries. Some of these date back to the mid 1800's and are the final resting place of pioneers from this area.
Please pay the utmost respect when walking through these sites. Taking a few moments to read the information that went onto the stonework will ensure that these individuals will not be forgotten.
Very small cemetery in the town of East Gwillimbury, very easily accessible and open to the public. Very few graves, and many are not in their original locations. The older stones are all lying back to back in the centre, surrounded by four stones that are newer and still standing.
Dedicated to the Settlers of East Gwillimbury in 1975
A small camoflauged lock and lock with room for small trade items hidden in the obvious spot. Please bring a pen or pencil to sign the log. A twoonie for the FTF.
