This cache must be accessed from rest area property or log will be deleted.
**The pedestrian bridge has been removed - a water crossing is required**
Small rest area cache to give you a 2nd reason to stop here and take a break from driving. If you don't find it, don't forget to post your DNF's, that way I can stop by and check on it to make sure it's okay for the next traveling cacher.
I thought it would be nice to have a 2nd reason to go caching at this rest stop, so I placed it here to give travelers another reason to get out and get a little exercise. The original bridge which was barricaded and unuseable at the time the cache was placed has now been removed. You will need to decide how you want to cross the creek. There is more than one way across, so choose which way you are most comfortable with and bring boots if necessary. The terrain rating may be too high or too low, depending on your creek crossing method. You are looking for a small container with a logbook, pen and some small items. Please make sure the lid is on secure so the contents can remain dry. I placed this on the 2 year anniversary of the last cache Linda and I found together in Colorado, our last vacation together. We miss you Linda. First to find are simply FTF bragging rights.
