Fell Foot Park (FFP5) – Rupert Bear Traditional Cache
BOG BEARS: These caches were set up 5 years ago when the Mega Event was held in nearby Cartmel. Since then they have been visited over 780 times so maintenance can be a problem as log books fill up quickly. When we last visited in May they were all fine but now it seems other cachers feel that they would be better if they were archived. Thanks to all the cachers who have posted appreciative logs over the years and special thanks to all the cachers who have replaced log books for us and even replaced the boxes occasionally [:)]

This is one of a series of caches set in Fell Foot Park to coincide the Mega Event to held in August 2012. See GC3RJ9P for more information on Fell Foot Park.
Rupert originally featured as a cartoon character in the Daily Express. He is easily recognized by his yellow checked trousers, red jumper and yellow checked scarf. The Rupert the Bear song should be sung loudly when you find the cache! DO NOT GO THROUGH THE GATE HERE. STAY IN THE MEADOW AND FOLLOW THE WALL TO THE CORNER THEN HEAD TOWARDS THE WATERS EDGE
