If you look across the tracks from the cache location you will see a clearing in which stood the Canadian Northern Railway Station. It was open for a short time in 1915. Not paying their government loans resulted in the company going into receivership. The rails were scavenged for the war effort and the building became a section- crew bunkhouse.
The area became known as "Sleepy Hollow." Certain locals in town still refer to it as Sleepy Hollow to this day. For more information please read the plaque that is nearby.
In accordance with Jasper National Park guidelines no trading items or things that might attract wildlife are to be left in this cache.
