PUJOLET
El Centre dÉsports Manresa (CEM)havia nascut de la fusió de dos equips locals rivals,el Manresa F.C. i el Catalónia S.C.El primer camp de futbol de Manresa es trobava on avui hi ha l'edifici de l'antic Escorxador.Després de passar per altres zones de joc,l'abril del 1926 el CEM es va instal-lar al Pujolet,en un terreny propietat de Josep Cecchini.Aixó no obstan,Manresa disposava d'altres camps de futbol dels quals destacava el del Flor de Lis (de la Joventut Carlista de Manresa conegut amb el nom d'Stadium Manresá-,situat on ara hi ha el Centre Hospitalari de Manresa ),el de les Tortonyes,situat al Poblenou,i el dels Fejocistes ubicat als Docs (l'actual carrer de Mossén Jacint Verdaguer).
La temporada 1924/25 va culminar uns anys de triomfs esportius.El Club d'Esports Manresa guanyá aquell any els titols de campió provincial i de campió de Catalunya de la segona categoria.A més va ascendir al grup B de primera categoria.El CEM va marcar aquesta temporada 54 gols (un terç dels quals foren marcats per Mariá Homs) in'encaixá 14.És durant aquesta época d'eufória que s'inaugurá el camp del Pujolet.
Aixó no obstant,al final de la década dels vint,el CEM entrá en unaépoca regressiva a causa del descens de l'equip amb la corresponent baixa de socis.L'any 1932,la Junta Directiva del club va
dimitir per no trobar la sortida a la crisi.Malgrat la dolenta situació tant económica com esportiva,el club pogué superar aquell moment tan dificil,aixó si,sense assolir moments d'especial brillantor.
Poc abans de l'esclat de la Guerra Civil,l'Ajuntament de la Manresa estava fent els trámits per adquirir la propietat del Camp del Pujolet.El projecte contemplava convertir el Pujolet en un dels millors camps de joc de Catalunyá amb una cabuda de 15.000 espectadors.La confrontació bél-lica aturá un cop més les ánsies d'una ciutat per millorar,en aquest cas,uns equipaments esportius.
Aquest catxé és reconeixement històric d'un camp de futbol que va donar alegria i emoció als seguidors del futbol en aquells anys penosos de la postguerra.
