Old access gate Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

UKDgc: This was always a bit dodgy when placed and it clearly has not been improved with time . Another cacher may find a way to reuse this site so will archive for now . All the best , Andrew UKDgc.

Geocache Description:

Along this part of the old towing path beside the Severn many large properties have gardens with access to the path and a variety of boundaries and gates . The river cliff is steep here and this access requiires elaborate terraces or steep steps , at this one steep steps are well overgrown . The old towpath is a well used public path but is ferquently flooded and so remains very slippery , a tricky walk but well worth the river views .

A small pill bottle protected by webbing and nestling near the top of the gate.
