In this area the old towing path beside the Severn is interrupted by the Duck Brook joining from the east . in the past there must have been a bridge now long gone and the well used riverside path takes a detour inland for a crossing by a nice new wooden footbridge . The old path is still passable and has some splendid old railings beside it . This willow is just on the southern side of the confluence of brook and river .
A small pill bottle reinforced with webbing hopefully placed just above the highest flood mark . Approach from the south and return to the path as crossing the brook here is not really safe across fallen treetrunks . In view of other cachers experience , see logs , suggest this one is only tackled when the paths are dry . With its history this cache is liable to be absent for all manner of reasons , please take a photo and post it to claim a find and show the state of play at GZ .
