PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN AS ALL CACHES IN THIS TRAIL ONLY CONTAIN A LOG AND SWAPS FOR THE LARGER CACHES.
Barrow to Borough Trail is a pleasant walk from Barrow upon soar to Loughborough partially along roads and partially along public footpaths and Bridal ways with caches both semi-urban and rural of varying difficulties along the route. The route also takes in a couple of other caches along the way which are:-
“Quorn Cut & Dry - GC3144D”
“Bypass Baffler - GC3CQJF”
And “Woodthorpe Wander - GC310J1”
For a longer walk you could join “The Quackers Trail” with this one to make a round trip from Loughborough to Barrow and back again (There are 2 pubs just as you enter Barrow upon Soar, one definitely dog friendly (not sure what the second pubs policy on Canines is) but their both child friendly, with some nice outside seating).
There is a local bus route that connects Loughborough and Barrow for easy access to the start of the trail.
