This cache was placed for the Okanagan CacheFest 2012 event. It was made for the new cachers mini-event.
When I place a cache, I keep the following in mind:
1. What will people think the finder is doing? For example, if you place a cache near a busy playground, what will the regular attendees think if a strange person arrives and starts looking in the bushes?
2. Think about the environment. Will people hunting here harm the plants if they are having difficulty and making lots of guesses? Will the bushes grow thorns in the summer and make it a harder find?
3. Is the container suitable for the location? A micro might be suitable for an urban setting, but how frustrating would it be to hunt for a micro in the woods?
