Geocache Description:

This is a small box placed on Blackford Hill - NOT NEAR CLIFF EDGE! If you're within 4 metres of edge then you have gone too far!

This cache has been placed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of when Crustyloafer placed a memorable geocache in Edinburgh: Blackford Drop.

For many geocachers around here this was one of the first geocaches attempted and it was often commented that it was a great location.

APPROACH FROM THE NORTH, NOT FROM THE SOUTH

NOTE: despite this great location unfortunately it is also a VERY DANGEROUS location - children and dogs who run about alot are not advised to go anywhere near this cache - it is called Blackford Drop with good reason!  That said, the actual location is near the path and not near the drop. If you find yourself struggling for grip then you've gone too far near the drop!

There aren't too many nice places to hide a box here so this one is in the jaggys. Best bring gardening gloves

Car parking next to the Observatory.

ONCE AGAIN, REMEMBER THAT THIS CACHE IS *NOT* CLOSER THAN 5 OR 6 METRES TO THE FALL!
