This cache is hidden in an off-leash dog park beside a playground in Coach Hill. You're looking for a small, clear container with a clear lid labelled with the cache name. Bring your own writing utensil. Beware the thorns on plants that grow closer to the ground in the copse. We recommend that an adult with long sleeves, pants, and shoes that cover the feet be the one to retrieve the cache, particularly if kids or dogs are part of the geocaching party.
If you’re driving here, the best parking is by the playground; see parking coordinates. Parking on Old Banff Coach Road, though closer to the cache, is not recommended for safety concerns.
Chariot Race is named after one of our son’s favourite warmer weather activities, which is to go very fast up and down hills in this area while he’s in his Chariot trailer attached to his dad’s bike.
Coordinates have been marked with a Garmin eTrex 10.
