This cache is the tenth in a series of caches. The plan is to put out a range of difficulty and terrain caches, as well as cache types, local to the Eglinton and surrounding areas (for my ease of maintenance). The first digit of these caches will also start with all the letters and numbers for anyone trying to complete their Alphanumeric challenge.
Please remember to note down the letter at the top of the log book.
This should be a relatively quick cache and dash, although very close to the cache there are picnic benches and bins provided should you wish to turn this into more of a pit-stop.
At the GZ you will see two bridges spanning the Owenbeg River, the new (ugly) modern bridge carrying all of today's heavy traffic on the main Belfast to Londonderry road and in stark contrast an old quiet stone bridge that many a year ago did the same job in a more picturesque way, all be it carrying less of a load. Often wondered out of the thousands that cross the new bridge everyday, how many realise this old one still exists.
The Cache
It’s a 30ml sample container wrapped in camo tape, well hidden from view of people passing. Please replace exactly as and where you find it.
A bonus cache will then be available by solving an anagram with all the collected letters from each of the previous 36 caches.
REMEMBER TO JOT DOWN AND KEEP THE LETTER ON THE TOP OF THE LOGBOOK. Happy hunting.
