This cache is part of a series that is offered for the ATV enthusiast. Following the caches in order will bring an ATV rider from Brown Rd. in Oakfield to the gas stations and restaurants on Main St. in Oakfield following authorized legal ATV trails. The caches are easy to find (with a few exceptions, note difficulty ratings) and are placed along the way and at almost all places where an ATV rider has a choice of turns to take. Of course, this same trail is available to snow sledders, but some of these caches are on the ground and are not accessible during the sledding season. All of the caches are likewise accessible by jeep and/or hiking, but ATV riders will be able to easily ride right to ground zero. Brown Rd. is a central ATV route in this area and is authorized for ATV use its entire length, from Timoney Lake Rd. to South Oakfield Rd. It connects to trails leading to Linneus, Houlton, Island Falls and beyond. Please respect the camp and homeowners along Brown Rd. and slow down to keep trail dust at a minimum.
This cache is accessible by automobile on Ridge Rd. There is a small parking space near ground zero.
