No. 3 of the Pockwock Walk B series. Update 2014-08-04. Large maple has fallen and is very hard now to see the log (plank) to walk on before taking a seat. Cache is hanging in evergreen at eye level. Nice spot to pick raspberries. Congrats to Salty_ca for FTF!!
Update 2014-04-13** Please note that this area is a PROTECTED WATERSHED and all cachers must follow geocaching guidelines set out by Halifax Regional Water Commission which can be found at http://www.halifax.ca/hrwc/SourceWaterProtection.html Pockwock Lake is the water supply for Halifax, Bedford, Sackville, Timberlea, Fall River and Waverley. The watershed is protected by provincial designation and is primarily owned by the Crown. HRWC jointly manages the watershed with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources. The watershed encompasses approximately 5661 hectares.
