This is a mutli utilizing the wilderness by the Shenango River.
This adventure will take you to parts of the Shenango river that is not traveled by very many people. There are no level paths. Swamps areas, trees, thorns, poison ivy, bugs. You will be tired and wet. Be prepared with water in the hot months and wear orange during hunting seasons.
I told several cachers that I had in mind a 5/5 cache that I was going to place. THIS IS IT!!!!!! This is not an easy cache. There are no NANOS in the woods to find. The Final is a small to regular sized cache loaded with goodies.
You could use a canoe to do this cache. Put in at New Hamburgh and take out at Big Bend. Or you could bushwack. Remember, you take all the risks on this geocache. Enjoy the wildlife in the area. Deer and maybe a bear could be seen. Aquatic birds use this section of the river often. Bring a fishing pole because there are several good fishing spots in this area.
