The4RoamingGnomes: Thanks so much to all who came out and made this such a fantastic event. It was a lot of work but hearing all the stories at the end of the day and seeing all the smiles definitely makes it all worth while. We hope to see you all next fall and plan to camp as we are hoping to secure the same venue!

Come one, come all....to the Great Pumpkin Run! This is our 2nd annual fall Halloween themed event, we have taken all the great things you liked from our past events and tweaked them to come up with an even bigger and better challenge! We will gather at the large pavillion at GZ in the morning and at 10 a.m. sharp we will begin the raffle drawing for the order of GPS loading so be sure to bring your cord! As soon as you're loaded and ready you will be free to take off and start your day of adventure of 30 NEW EVENT CACHES!!! When you have completed the road course we will meet back at the pavillion at 6:30 for potluck dinner and prizes (donations are always welcome for the prize table!). We will end our big day with the release of a new night cache. We are very excited about our new venue being offered in cooperation with Sanilac County Evergreen Park which in addition to great caching offers a great campground, fishing on the Cass River and hiking. If enough people RSVP they will be camping for the weekend we can get together on Friday night for campfires and caching stories.
For the potluck please bring a dish to pass based on the first letter in your last name:

We will supply hot dogs/buns/condiments, please bring your beverage of choice. We will have a small refrigerator on site for some of the items that will need to be in a cool environment for the day but space will be limited so if you are bringing one of these items please bring a cooler if possible to help out. Tell all your caching friends and come to the thumb for a weekend of great fun. Can't wait to see you all!
