Launch Pad is a cache with a special mission: it launches a series of interactive trackables. (Fresh trackables will appear from time to time.) If you take a trackable, do the usual with it: log it and move it on to another cache (we want the trackables to cover as much ground as they can around the nation and around the world)- but we also ask that you take a picture (or a video) of the trackable on its travels, and either post it in the trackable's log, or e-mail it to uncleflip -at- mindspring -dot- com.
Not up for taking a trackable along? There's the usual swag- oh, and one of those ever-present log books. If you just want to make the find, don't feel any pressure. Just sign and calmly walk away...
This cache should be easy for even inexperienced geocachers to find. I wanted it to be fun- though the biggest fun will hopefully be the interactive bits you do with the trackables *after* you find them! I recommended this one for kids, as I think they'd have a bunch of fun with it!
We wanted a pad for the launching, so this cache is very close to a helipad. If there is a helicopter on the pad when you arrive, ***DO NOT*** go after the cache. Please come back at another time. There's the muggle factor- but this is more a matter of personal safety, as well as the safety and security of the pilots and the people who fly with them. Thanks for your cooperation.
