The Coastal Cache series is a series consists of 7 indiviual caches. two are puzzles, one a multi and the rest like this one a tradition. SO you can get a total of 7 caches out of it if you can complete the whole series. Some caches in Okinawa especially the park or jungle located ones are sometimes very hard to get to in summer, with overgrown vegetation, hot draining humid heat and plenty of creepy crawlies and snakes. With this series all the caches are located on the West coast of Okinawa very near the sea, so snakes and overgrown vegetation should not be a problem. The heat of course cannot be avoided but you will be close the sea so you may jump in for a dip to cool down any time you like. (Don't forget to take you GPS out of your pocket first)
Why did I choose this area? Because years ago when I was courting my future wife to be I would often wonder up and down the coast here waiting for her to finish work so the coastline here is very special for me. .
This cache Water Works, is located just outside of Ginowan Water Works very close to the sea. You are looking for a small round container AND a rectangular cache hidden some fairly heavy rocks. So if you don't like heavy lifting please bring a strong friend. The average person should have no trouble with the rock. Like all the caches in this series fishing muggles are your enemy. At times many fisherman may gather in this area. Please put the big rock back the way you found it. />
