This cache has been archived.

Professor Xavier: The guidelines state that caches are not to be placed in Dry Stone walls due to the damage that can occur.

I am therefore archiving this listing.

Geocache Description:

Rudyard Lake is actually a reservoir built in 1797-8 to feed the Caldon Canal. It is a popular location for boating, canoeing, fishing and walking. There is also a miniature Steam Railway ideal for both the young and old a like. There is parking at the Steam Railway station or by the Dam Head.

This is a series of Geocaches created for our sons 9th birthday party, which you can combine with other caches for a great 5 mile circular walk around the lake.

We hope you enjoy !

Very small plastic box, only enough room for a log and pencil.

Look a car park small enough for just one car.
