The route is mostly along Public Footpaths, Bridleways and By-Ways. You'll encounter a variety of surfaces from decent ashphalt paths through to muddy tracks and paths through crops. The routes are all obvious on OS and OSM maps, and are well waymarked by Wokingham Borough Council. There are around 10 stiles.
At the time the caches were hidden there were horses in the field before cache 4. The public footpath crosses the field. I've always found the horses inquisitive but friendly, but please make your own risk assessment especially if you have children or dogs with you.
There's a mixture of containers - small, micro and nano. The small containers have a couple of swaps and room for small GCs and TBs. None of the caches has a pencil.
Ample parking is available at Bearwood Recreation Ground - see waymark on cache 1. There's also a cafe there which serves drinks, snacks, ice creams and provides restroom facilities. The cache notes assume you will follow the trail in numerical order, but that's not essential - and you might find a couple of the caches do-able as drive-bys if you find the right by-ways.
From the recommended parking, make your way down Mill Lane, passing the health spa and the sadly dilapidated farm buildings. The trail begins at the footpath sign and stile before the motorway bridge,
Please keep to the line of the footpath around the field edge on the way to cache 2.
