Geocache Description:

A short stroll from Newgale Beach will give you this cache and a stunning panoramic view..........on the coast path so beware the Muggles!........Plenty of paths join up your goal.....Enjoy! TB4CNEW Trackable for the FTC!.....Please move on!

The tiny village of Newgale features a superb and very popular surfing beach facing the Irish Sea There are two miles of flat sand with a tall shingle bank that prevents the sea encroaching on the road. A lifeguard is on duty during the school holidays.

In addition to surfing, the beach is used for bathing (in calm weather), power kiting and sand buggying.

The less energetic can enjoy magnificent views of the bay from the Haverfordwest to St David's road. on both sides of the tiny village.

Newgale beach is on the Pembrokeshire Coast path. Walkers on the cliffs either side of the beach can expect magnificent views of the bay and possibly a sighting of seals.

There is little of interest in the village itself, except two cafes and a pub. A toilet is available, including facilities for disabled people. Plenty of car parking is provided.

Permission of Pembrokeshire National Park sought.
