Please note the D/T rating when searching for this cache. The cache is not in the middle of the street.
To appease a local cacher who believes this cache should be archived becuse there is no history about this location on the cache page, here is some history about this great location:
Wharncliffe Road is a main thoroughfare just west of the core area of London. It starts with a one-block residential section north of Western Road, following the route of the former London and Lake Erie Railway (discontinued before 1920) to end in Lambeth where it adjoins Longwoods Road.
Wonderland Road is a major north-south arterial road and the busiest road in London, carrying on average over 45,000 vehicles daily between Springbank Drive and Riverside Drive in 2002.
Now back to our regular scheduled broadcasting:
gr812nv is one of our local cachers who loves his fiance, fast food, the TV show the Young & The Restless and has a secret foot fetish.
Some of our local cachers were willing to say a few words about Luke. Some had no problem with their name being used and others wanted to remain anonymous.
masterninja50 ~ He's the kind of guy that is friendly, maybe sometimes too friendly for his own good. Willing to cache with and is eager to cache with most people. Likes to go caching with friends, have enjoyed his company on many caching trips far and near. Have to admit, he does like to be in on a practical joke or two.
allie_gator2006 ~ GR812NV, Leafs fan extraordinaire. We (allie and I) were once invited to Luke's house to watch a Toronto Vs Montreal game and a gentleman's wager was made on the outcome of the game. For some strange reason I cannot explain, we haven't been invited back to Luke's house. Coincidence? During the past season, another wager was made. The loser would place caches honouring the other team with the premise that none of the cache would be bashing that team. Turned out that neither of our teams made the playoffs. Earlier this Spring, Luke was observed signing caches as TML. He said that it stood for Tom, Luke and Matt but we all know it stands for Too Much Loosing as Luke as established his tendencies for long time suffering being a Maple Leafs fan! Enjoy the cache Luke. Gator of team allie_gator2006 G0! Habs! GO!
lulu_zulu ~ While out caching with both Egghammer and gr812nv, I was speaking with Mat while Luke bent over to grab the cache and sign it. The back of Luke's shirt lifted up a bit and I couldn't believe what I saw, it was a bright purple thong looking right at me. I tapped Mat on the shoulder and told him to look, we both couldn't believe it. After signing the log, Luke started to turn around and noticed we were looking at the thong. All he said in the most serious voice was "Crazy Town Banana Pants" and then started to walk to the next cache.
Cargoman ~ What can I say about Luke that ain't been said! Luke is a "GR812NV" (great one to envy), Lotz of fun to cache with and is always comming up with great ideas fer caches! Wish our schedules were similar so we could cache more together!
Anonymous ~ I was out caching and met gr812nv for the first time out on the trails trying to get a FTF. I had to quickly stop at the grocery store before I went caching to try and get the FTF and had brought a few groceries with me to the cache. gr812nv smacked the loaf of bread out of my hand. To this day, I'm still not sure if he did it on purpose or not to try and get the FTF before me.
Egghammer ~ Luke is a great person, it sometimes makes me uncomfortable when he tries to touch my feet, but other than that, he's a pretty good guy. We also worked together for a while years after we met each other from Geocaching.
Anonymous ~ We both like pickles, which gives us a lot to talk about when we go geocaching together. He also got a new car not too long ago and so did I.
khc5 ~ Luke is great to go geocaching with....if your only looking for a 1.5/1.5, anything more than that and it's pretty much just me finding the caches with Luke getting a smiley because he was there.
chartmaker ~ He contributed a lot to the caching community in London a couple of years ago, thinking it was two years ago, with his BR (bike route) series. Too bad as many as did got muggled as it was a nice outing along the Thames. Glad to say I got almost all of them found.
CacheDrone ~ I don't know gr812nv what-so-ever but I've published many of his caches. Seeing his name on a listing doesn't make me cringe or roll my eyes, so he's okay in my books.
Anonymous ~ KCCO
K-and-K ~ Had to say! Well I have also had my turn at caching with the gr812nv. Not sure what the heck his alias meant at the time when we first met I had to ask, & just laughed. One day in the cafeteria where we worked together from time to time, we decided after work to grab a few caches. During the hike he came up with the birdbrain idea of a cache, I said great and I'm an Electrician, lets do it ! On route to few caches after work we planned it out researched it and reasoned its drawbacks. And well ... we are still waiting for this one and that other cache for him to present. What a dreamer !
LOL
all in good fun !

Anonymous ~ I was driving somewhere and saw gr812nv walking down the street eating watermelon chunks and it kind of made me want to go get some watermelon. I've never cached with him before but he's always admired me.
I am still waiting on a few more comments (I'm not sure if they would like to use their cache name or remain anonymous); however if you would like to add a short blurb about gr812nv, please send me a message and I will be glad to add it to the cache page for you.
gr812nv is now simply known as these 4 words "Crazy Town Banana Pants".
