Geocache Description:

The ‘Wandering Heroes’ series is a community series dedicated to the men, women and children of caching and a chance to learn more about the names you see on logs. Once you have finished the series, feel free to add a well thought out cache in the spirit of the series, dedicated to another Wandering Hero.

This cache is dedicated to cacher John Tevis, aka Tevis Clan, the founder High Desert Geocachers. John has been around a very long time. John created and host the www.HighDesertGeocachers.com site as well as contributing some great local historical caches. The Tevis Family host the annual Tevis Haunted House at their Tevis Ranch the last week of October, one haunt you cannot afford to miss (http://tevisfamily.com). Taking a well deserved break from caching to focus on expanding his Ranch John is still involved behind the scenes. Thank you John for your support and your contribution to the community.

Thanks to Damian, aka demolineux, Alan Victor's son from Australia, for bringing the idea of this series to the High Desert. Taken from the Aussie Wandering Heroes in South Australia, example: GC31NNV. Again, please feel free to continue this series with your tribute to a fellow cacher or cachers.
