The World Heritage Commission by UNESCO declared the Banks of the Danube in Budapest part of World Heritage for being one of the world's outstanding urban landscapes and illustrating the great periods in the history of the Hungarian capital. Danube Promenade series presents the two banks of the river between Margaret and Petőfi Bridges – including the world famous Promenade of Pest. (between the Széchenyi Chain Bridge to the Erzsébet Bridge).

Az UNESCO Világörökség Bizottsága által 1987-ben világörökségi rangra emelt budapesti Dunapart - amellett, hogy egyike a világ kiemelkedően szép urbanisztikai látképeinek - jól szemlélteti a magyar főváros történetének különböző időszakait. Ez a sorozat - a folyó mindkét partján végigsétálva - a Margit-híd és a Petőfi híd közötti szakaszt mutatja be, érintve a névadó Dunakorzót is.
