Geocache Description:

A cache with a view.

Park at our new lot off of Townline Road. This is a spectacular 1/5 mile hike with a view of the Rock River Valley and the Byron Nuclear Plant in the distance. An easy find and a container with room for trackables and swag.

The Ripplinger/Gouker Preserve contains 47 acres and is adjacent to the Etnyre preserve. The Ripplinger farm house nearer to Route 2 dates back to the late 1800s/early 1900s.
