A Little Haywire Traditional Cache
JASE.R: Cache looks to have been muggled by a bear - last time I was up there the spot wasn't torn up like it is now, so it probably got exposed while he was rooting for bugs, and has since been misplaced. I'm archiving because of lack of time to go and replace it, and want to open the spot up for someone else. May place another here in the future if no one else has at that time.

I had been wanting to place a cache here for a while now, as I find Geocaching and camping go hand-in-hand... my son had decided the location it was to be hidden in the last time we were camping here, and finally got one placed here just in time for the August Long weekend!
The area I hid it in is a hidden little adventure area that many kids like to play in while camping at Haywire, and when you get there you'll see why - it's pretty neat!
This one is a micro, the container is actually an old Jiffy pen that had the writing end get stuck in the cap, making it a nice little micro stick! To get to this cache, park in the parking lot above the gazebo/bbq area at Haywire Bay (if you are not already camping there - in which case you can just walk). There are many trails heading up the hill that you will see to your right, but the easiest route I took while placing it was to head down the main trail to the right of the gazebo, following it until it forks into two main trails (at which point you will have passed a couple entry trails up the hill, but again I'm taking you the easiest route I found while holding a two-year-old). Take the right (high) road, go about 20ft or go, and hang a sharp right where you see more trails branch off of the main trail. Head on up the hill, and have fun!
