Geocache Description:

Plastic Container

Archery had its debut at the 1900 summer Olympics and has been contested in 14 Olympiads. Eighty three different nations have appeared in the Olympic archery competitions, with France appearing the most often at 11 times. The sport has been largely dominated by Korean archers since the 1988 Olympics, winning 18 of 28 and 32 of 84 gold and total medals awarded respectively since Seoul.

There is an archery area inside Lake Park.  Unfortunately with all the recent rains that area of the park is not currently accessible.  This cache is in an easily accessible part of the park.  There is a $2 entrance fee to get into Lake Park.

This cache is part of our GeOlympic series, a series of caches that are olympic themed and coincide with the 2012 summer olympics is London. SOME of the caches have letter/number combination clues to help find the closing ceremony cache. Good luck to all the GeOlympic participants with your search.
*** This is a larger sized cache so the pictures of something small black is not the cache - it has not been burnt as of April 2015 ***
