Geocache Description:

Snapshots in Time

The mural on this Old Town Battle Ground fixture has been in progress for several years and shows a pictorial history of Battle Ground through "Snapshots in Time".  When it is completed, the panels will go from the Chief Umtuch/Captain Strong story up through recent times.  Businesses and individuals have donated time, labor, and money to help make this vision a reality.  At the time of this hide, there were nine full panels telling the town's history - for Harvest Days 2013, the artist has added two more panels.  Note that it is best to look for this cache before 4:00 pm if you don't like being in a fishbowl. Stand in front of the artwork and study it to answer the following questions:

How large was the biggest family in the 1904 census? A
How much road tax was paid? B
How many boats are on Battle Ground Lake? C
How many milk cans are in the doorway? D
How many girls in the front row of the church panel? E
How much was paid to the farmers in 1928? F
What are the first three digits of the dairy truck's truck number? G
What was the price of corn in cents at the store next to Ernie's? H
How many letters are in the artist's last name? I

Now for the math -
XXX = Square root of F (rounded) + (G * D) + A + A2
YYY = (B * C) + H + (I * E)

Final cache is at N 45 46.XXX W 122 32.YYY.  Have fun and replace exactly as found. Checksum of the six unknown digits = 36.
