Jednoducha - takmer drive in - keska, ktora vam ma ukazat zdroj pitnej vody pre Kysuce a Zilinu.
!!! POZOR, hradza je monitorovana, kusok od infotabule ma budku aj straznik, tak zbytocne neprovokujte nocnymi odlovmi !!!


SK: Vodna nadrz Nova Bystrica bola vybudovana v rokoch 1983 az 1989, odvtedy zasobuje pitnou vodou takmer cele Kysuce, Zilinu a okolie. Ma rozlohu 180 ha a je v nej priblizne 34 milionov m3 vody.
V najhlbsom mieste dosahuje hlbku az 52 m.
Pod jej hladinou su zatopene obce Riecnica a Harvelka. Jedinou pamiatkou na zaniknute obce je kostol v Riecnici, ku ktoremu vedie modra turisticka znacka – cca 10 km - vhodna aj pre bicykle.

EN: The reservoir Nova Bystrica was built in 1983 – 1989, since it supplies drinking water to Kysuce region and Zilina City. The water area has app. 180 hectares and contains about 34 million cubic meters of water. The reservoir is 52 meters deep in its deepest places.
Under the water there are 2 villages flooded – Riecnica and Harvelka. The only monument of the extinct villages is the Church in Riecnica, which you can get by blue hiking trail – app. 10 km – suitable also for bikes.
