The southern coast of Algarve provides great views of the sea. Similarly, in the sea it’s possible to have great views, in a different perspective, of the coast. Enjoy the cliffs and their profiles, and how these give rise to some fantastic beaches and carrels.
This cache takes you to a place where you can enjoy the limestone cliffs, viewing it from to the sea. Sit on the rock and enjoy the peace of the place, with the calm sea, while log the cache. To arrive at the place you will need a boat, a kayak or a board (although you can get there only swimming, i do not advise this method). I advise also a snorkeling kit, a wetsuit and fishermen's boots. Depart from Praia do Barranco, always near the coast. The cache is tied in place with a rope attached to the rock. Let it in the same way you found, and always tied into the rope.
Never do this cache alone, there is no close surveillance and the location is isolated. If you cannot swim well or do not feel confident to swim in the sea
DON'T make this cache.
If the curling is large DON'T go to the place. May exist currents in some approaches, always keep in mind this factor.
Have common sense and your safety first.
This cache is in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina. Then do not forget to help preserve nature and natural beauty of the place, any garbage you have find on the place or in the acess please take it to the garbage bin in the car park - Cache In, Trash Out!
Good luck and have fun!
