This cache is available in winter. Be careful as the slope could be slippery. Small container, cammoed. Not placed within the cemetery. We placed an unactivated NB Winter Challenge geocoin in the container for the FTF.
For sometime now we have stopped and explored country cemeteries. We found this cemetery "Thompson Cemetery" one day on the way to the Springfield Fair. Looking around we noticed the marker for Olive Emery. She died February 19, 1850 at the age of 82. Which meant she was born in 1768... before the War of Independence. Olive is the oldest person we have found to date, and thought this was quite remarkable. It would be interesting to know where she was born and more about her life. Please see the waypoint coordinates to her stone.
