Geocache Description:

On a warm July afternoon I sat a while to listen to crickets singing and to finish reading The Old Man And The Boy at one of my favorite little hideaways when it dawned on me that this would be a perfect place to stash a cache!

Please respect all natural and manmade barriers as you geocache here and do not leave the trail.

Cache In Trash Out keeps it looking good!

You’ll be led near a shady nook
Where you might stop and read a book
Or simply stand or stoop and look
(through one of many windows)
Upon the world beyond.

It would be a splendid thing
should you hear some crickets sing
Or spy upon a dragonfly
darting over flowers high
Or perhaps a duck or bird
whose quacks or chirps may oft be heard
as they seek a lunch to take
from the calm of WildWood Lake.

So, you wish another hint?
Why not stop and rest a stint?
Calm your mind – no need to wander –
but to simply sit and ponder.

A little cricket
plump and black
makes music with its legs in back
It seeks the dark to sing its song
and other crickets sing along.

This cache is sort of cricket like
but without legs that sing
these are the only hints I’ll give
now go and find this thing!
