Geocache Description:

Hochalpiner Cache mit tollem Berg- und Stadtpanorama. Von der Bergstation der Hafelekarbahn in wenigen Minuten leicht und sicher zu Fuß erreichbar ist.

High-Altitude cache located on the scenic (2260m) northern mountain range above Innsbruck . Easily and safely accessible within a few minutes walk from the mountain station of "Hafelekarbahn".

Die Innsbrucker Nordkette ist verkehrstechnisch bestens an die Stadt angeschlossen. Innerhalb von einer knappen Stunde gelangt man mit den Nordkettenbahnen vom Stadtzentrum Innsbrucks in hochalpines Gelände über 2000 Meter Seehöhe. Diesen logistischen Vorteil nützen immer wieder Filmteams aus der ganzen Welt, die die schöne Kulisse für unterschiedlichste Filme nützen.

Im Frühjahr 2012 war das Hafelekar Drehort für den von der RAI produzierten Fernseh 2-Teiler “K2 –The Italian Mountain”. Unter der Regie von Robert Dornhelm diente die Nordkette als K2 Kulisse. Inhalt des auf historischen Tatsachen beruhenden Spielfilms ist die Erstbesteigung des K2 durch ein italienisches Team unter der Führung von Walter Bonatti im Jahr 1954. Die Rolle des Walter Bonatti wird von Marco Bocci gespielt, der vielen Italienern als “Commissario Scialoja” bekannt sein dürfte.
Zwei Wochen lang war das Hafelelkar bevölkert von Schauspielern und Bergsteigern im 50-Jahre Look. Am Hafelekar war ein “Hochlager" aufgebaut, in dem Lagerszenen gedreht wurden. Auch Kletterszenen wurden am Hafelekar gefilmt. Die Bildergalerie vermittelt ein paar Eindrücke von den Dreharbeiten (Ein dickes Danke an die Firma Jungle Productions für die zur Verfügung Stellung dieser Bilder und Eindrücke).
Weitere Drehorte in Tirol waren die Universität Innsbruck, die Pfarrkirche in Schwaz und das Ötztal.
Der Zweiteiler soll im Spätherbst 2012 auch im ORF zu sehen sein.

Dieser Dreh ist der Namensgeber für diesen Cache und soll ganz dem Thema “Film” gewidmet sein. Die Erstausstattung besteht aus 5 DVDs . Der Cache soll ein reiner Filmcache bleiben. Jeder Finder ist herzlich eingeladen, DVDs zu tauschen. Bitte nur DVDs und keine Videos hinterlassen. Videos sind zu sperrig für die Box. Bitte definitv keine “nicht-jugendfreien Schmuddelfilme” hinterlassen!
Die Box enthält auch eine kleine Prämie für den First-Finder!

The northern mountain range of Innsbruck is easily accessible from the city. Within less than an hour you can reach the high mountains and an altitude of more than 2000 meters. Film Crews from all over the world make use of this logistic convenience and use the scenic mountain views in their films.
In spring 2012 the “Hafelekar” served as film location for a two-piece film produced by RAI. Innsbruck´s Nordkette served as backdrop for the K2 mountain in a film directed by Robert Dornhelm “K2- The Italian Mountain”. The film is based on the history of the first ascent of the K2 by a team of Italian alpinists in 1954. For two weeks in march the Hafelekar hosted K2 high-camps and the team shot camp- and climbing-scenes in original equipment of the 1950s. The image gallery contains some impressions of the film shooting (big thanks to “jungle productions” for providing the photographs).
The shooting of the K2 inspired the name of this Cache which is designed to be an entire movie cache! Originally, the cache contains 5 DVDs. Every finder is invited to trade DVDs but no other items are to be traded. Please do not trade VCRs because they are too big for the container. Please do not drop any X-rated movies!

The Box contains a small premium for the first finder!
