Geocache Description:

This nice park needs something more than micros, minis and nanos.....so here is a larger cache loaded with plenty of swag for trades! About 3' off the ground, not too difficult. VERY unique view of the huge bridge span of the recently completed and opened 190 Tollway (Pres. George Bush Tollway).

UPDATE: We have moved out-of-state and will not be able to maintain this very popular and active cache. So if we see a few DNFs in a row we will disable it. But If anyone nearby is up for it, you can adopt it as your own! Just contact us and we will archive it, then you just submit it as a new hide right on top of same spot. In the meantime, "CACHE-ON"!.

The Mrs. and I decided to put down a new hide over where the new 190/PGBT tollway construction project site, staging area was located. We thought this area needed a bigger cache with lots of SWAG to trade! Cache is a large plastic camo'd nut jar.

All the construction is done now and equipment and materials have been hauled off. And, on the day we were there, they had just re-opened Zion Rd again and all new sod grass is laid around the entire area. This is public land and it is recommended that you park at the park, make the walk along Zion and then turn right when your GPS tells you to. We don't recommend that you bush-whack to the cache in a straight line from the parking lot at the park.

It was just AWESOME to "walk among the giants" (those huge concrete pillar supports under the bridge) and to admire the view of the length of the bridge span out over Lake Ray Hubbard. A true engineering feat! Rumor is that Dallas is considering a lease to expand John Paul Jones park all the way down to this greenbelt area at the Tollway.

We saw no snakes or poison ivy the day we made the hide (Aug. 4) but this is near the lake so some could be about the area - use caution. FTF: As said before, there is plenty of SWAG to start off some good trades...........but FIRST TO FIND might want the official GeoCaching, mini/micro ammo can / container for their own new hide? And a small, blank log is already inside that tiny ammo can.

Good Luck! ★♥*¨¨*:•. CONGRATULATIONS to joosef.I on the FTF .•:*¨¨*♥★
