Geocache Description:

Ninnaji 仁和寺 is one of the most beautiful temples in Kyoto.


First, you will be amazed by its huge entrance gate called Nioumon 仁王門 when you arrive at the temple. The temple has a lot of national treasures and important cultural properties including Kondou 金堂, Five-story pagoda 五重塔 to name a few.

In order to solve the final coordinates, you are encouraged to enter the garden. The entrance is just near the listed coordinates. You are required to pay a generous admission fee but it is worth the money. You will be given an unforgettable experience of beauty of a Japanese garden. Please take time.

Your mission is to find a Buddhism hall called Reimei-Den 霊明殿 during your self-guided tour. Then, please answer following questions:

Q1)When was the building completed?

The answer is 19ab.

Q2)When was Yakushi-nyorai designated an Important Cultural Property and a National Treasure?

The answer is 198c and 199d, respectively.

Q3)How tall is the statue?

The answer is 10.e cm.

Calculate s,t,u,v,w, and x using a,b,c,d, and e.
s=e-a, t=a+e, u=c+d
v=c-a, w=s-b, x=w+d
