I am doing a road trip to collect some souvinears I have wanted for my collection for a while now and Alaska is one of them.
I am going to be here on the 18th and thought it would be a neet idea to host an event to recognize International Geocaching Day. Some of you have probably done all the caches in the area so by attending this event you will be able to snag the icon for doing a cache on this day.
Have a look at GC1Y5R9, it sounds like a great spot and according to the cache listing this is a great time to see some local bears doin some fishing. I thought it would be cool to meet some of the local cachers and enjoy the sights at the same time.
The event will take place at 10:00 am and go untill 10:30 or so and will be held on the viewing platform.
Brig some trackables if you want, I would be happy to put some mileage on them for you.
