Geocache Description:

An easy alphanumeric puzzle at a pretty Lakeland church.

The church of St Paul, Pooley Bridge was built in the 1860’s as a daughter church of St Michael, Barton to serve the developing tourist trade in the village, which is situated at the north end of Ullswater. It became a separate parish in 1905 but has always maintained strong links with Barton. The church has a small bell tower with a spire and is flanked by old stone houses. St.Paul's is usually kept open, so please feel free to pop in and have a look around inside.

The coordinates given are those of the free parking spaces next to the church, although in the summer these may be full.

The cache is hidden nearby.
