Coastal Caches are fun. Some caches in Okinawa especially the park or jungle located ones are sometimes very hard to get to in summer, with overgrown vegetation, hot draining humid heat and plenty of creepy crawlies and snakes. But this cache is located on the West coast of Okinawa by the sea, so snakes and overgrown vegetation should not be a problem. The heat of course cannot be avoided but you will be close the sea so you may jump in for a dip to cool down any time you like. (Don't forget to take you GPS out of your pocket first) Why did I choose this area? Because years ago when I was courting my future wife to be I would often wonder up and down the coast here waiting for her to finish work so the coastline here is very special for me. the coordinates for the cache are in the images below.
To approach this cache you can first park at the nearby Ginowan Farmers/ Seafood market. At first glance it may appear you need to climb a fence. This is not the case there is a gap in the fence for all to use. The fence is there to stop dirt bikers from playing in the quarry nearby. Once you go through the fence you will see a small cozy beach. At times the beach is used for jet skis, banana boats, diving and other marine sports. Like most of the Coastal Cache series Fishing muggles may pose a problem here. Hopefully the cache is located in a spot concealed from most of the muggles. Please approach from the side away from the beach near the deep water.
Congrats to Bushmaster1 and Bumblebee328 for FTF
