Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in honor of  TheCahill5's 100th find.
This is also our first hide.

Located near the Waldron Cemetery in Stony Point, NY.  This cemetery is in rememberance of local residents and their families who fought in the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.  This cemetery was lost to the town for many years.  Forgotten in the overgrowth.  The Sons of the American Revolution found and cleaned up the cemetery.  On July 18,2009 after almost 2 years of work the cemetery was re-dedicated.  The cemetery is now maintaind by the SAR and the Town of Stony Point.

The road to the cemetary is located on East Main St in Stony Point, NY, between John St and the Penny Bridge.  The best parking is on John St.  There is a gate into the land the cemetery is on, but you can walk around it.  The cache can be found by following  the woods road on the right as you approach the cemetery.  It is not necessary to enter the cemetery proper to find this cache, but you are welcome to explore it.
You are looking for a small lock and lock container.  There is an newly activated travel bug in the cache for the First to Find.
