A traditional cache at a beautiful spot in Makry Gialos.
The cache location is on a small cliff near the port of Makry Gialos. You will have a very nice view on the sea and a small rocky island.
To get there, take the turn at the waypoint and follow the sign to the port of Makry Gialos. You will drive along a very beautiful beach which is very quiet and even in June/July/August there are very few people there. From this beach you can get to the cache with just a short walk of a few minutes, a few hundred meters further down the road, you will get to the port of Makry Gialos with another beach and a lot of taverns and bars.
We hid this cache on the last day of our trip to Crete. We hope you will enjoy the view as we did. We thank OMILOS for the maintenance of this cache.
