Cache location is on the edge of several residential sections of Mason and in plain site of several roads. Retrieving the cache will require care to prevent witness and discovery by muggles. If you wish, go ahead and take something. But please also leave something of your own for others to find and, of course, don't forget to sign the log! :)
The Mason Rd roundabout is the first of its kind in Mason, OH. Traffic patterns at this intersection ceased to be a traditional four-way stop and first began circular, roundabout flows on July 26, 2010. Local opinions about projected improvements to efficient flow of traffic and the safety of the roundabout have varied since its installation. But, in this resident's opinion, people have adapted to its use. It's unusual for this area to employ roundabouts (or "traffic circles"), so it's worth seeing if you haven't seen or used one before. The cache is designed to bring you near the traffic circle, and the lack of easy/obvious parking makes it likely you'll have to walk across or drive around (or both) the intersection in order to get to the cache location. The Mason Road improvement project has added paved, recreational paths along Mason Rd and Hamilton-Mason Rd, which intersect at the cache location. Recommend walking or biking to the cache location or parking on a nearby side street and walking to the intersection. There is not room to safely park a car on the road (even briefly) near the intersection.
