Cache is placed on top of Colcord Mountain near the Lookout Tower.
A Forest Service fire lookout tower along the Mogollon Rim in the Tonto National Forest on top of Colcord Mountain The tower is 83 feet tall, and was built in 1960. The elevation is 7493 feet. Check out firelookout.org for more information. Check out the Benchmark from 1934 at the base of the tower. The cache is located a short distance away from the fire tower.
