"Gennai Hiraga" and "Basho Matsuo" make a home, and they are a historied town and Fukagawa, Koto-ku.
It valued that it was the people" smart "by one of the downtown areas representing Edo, and Fukagawa became Meiji Era with the division name of Tokyo, and was called Kyoichi Azuma Fukagawa till the postwar period. The canal etc. which were built at much storied temples and Edo period including famous Tomioka Hachimangu remain in Fukagawa, and it impresses historied Fukagawa.

旧東京市営店舗向住宅
深川は江戸を代表する下町の一つですが
関東大震災と太平洋戦争中の東京大空襲により、
江戸時代からの建造物等は殆ど焼失したため、今では古い物でも
震災以降の物しか残っていません。
その中でも、清澄通り沿いに残る旧東京市店舗住宅（通称清澄長屋）は、
旧東京市が震災復興事業の一環で建設した物で、
当時 としてはまだ珍しかった鉄筋コンクリート造2階建て
アール・デコ調の装飾が施された耐震耐火構造の建造物で、
東京大空襲の際には防火帯の役を果たし、
西側にある清澄庭園に逃げた人々の命を救いました。
建物の随所に残るアール・デコ調の装飾を探すのも楽しいと思います。
竣工は昭和3年（1928年）
