Update 9/28/18 Name changed to Pu'u O Kapolei This cache is located in a park that has recently undergone renovations. Most people know about the skate park, which is easily visible from the road, but what most people don't realize is that there is also an archery range, located behind the skate park.
This newly renovated area makes the park more enjoyable for us and we would like to share it you! There are beautiful paintings on a "stable" located near the cache and breadfruit trees located below. If you are lucky, you will arrive while hula practice is in session and hear the hawaiian music. The archery range itself is located on a historic WWII Missile Base. It includes outdoor targets that include burlap animal shaped targets and an indoor range. Indoor range? Yeah, INDOOR range people! When searching for this cache, please be careful. There is no need to climb any trees or fences, duck, dig or enter the archery range! This cache was made to be invisible to the eye, while being right under your nose (or feet, I should say). Parking near the archery range is the easiest way to get to the cache, but it is not the only entry point. It may be entered from Kapolei Regional Park, via a short walk. Please be sure to hide the cache in the way in which you found it. When you find it, you will understand why! Happy Hunting! FTF get a TokiDoki figure!
