Geocache Description:


Chip Carson, straight laced, hard boiled, private investigator.

For nearly 60 years, Chip fought crime and solved mysteries. Former photographer turned detective, Chip solved nearly every case that was laid before him. There was only one case that he was never able to solve. Only one mystery he was never able to put to rest. Chip would spend the majority of his life trying to put this one enigma to rest. Early in his career, Chip encountered a master thief. A person so cunning and clever that he was never able to pin this crafty devil down. He would have many close encounters throughout the years. It wasn’t until late in his life that he complied enough evidence to finally close the case. Unfortunately, Chip never managed to meet up with his foe again. Shortly before dying, Chip took what evidence he had gathered, placed it in a small camouflaged container and hid it. He scattered clues and coordinates to its whereabouts in numerous remote locations. It’s now up to you gather these coordinates, find his evidence, and solve the mystery that plagued Chip the majority of his life.

This is a 13 stage mystery cache. Each one of the caches in this series are stand alone caches. The first 12 caches will contain a piece of a bonus coordinate. Once you have found all 12 of the bonus coordinates you will be able to find the 13th cache. Once you have done that you will have the chance to solve the mystery that even the great Chip Carson could never solve.
