Once upon a time, a brave band of adventurers set forth in search of a wonderful cache known as GC2FZZ, "Kaspar Tunnel." Our intrepid explorers braved dreadful terrors and fearful roads to reach their goal (seriously, the mosquitoes were THIS BIG!) and traveled through miles and miles and miles of lovely green woodland filled with birdsong, cool breezes, and the most lovely cool temperatures. All seemed well, and soon their goal was at hand.
BUT ALAS! Through a moment of overconfidence in her footing, one of their party stepped in the wrong place less than a mile from the Wonderful Cache and went atlas-over-teakettle, sustaining what would prove to be a very bad sprain and possible torn ligaments. WOE!
Our brave band cared for their fallen comrade, dressing her wounds and setting her up comfortably in a place where she could fend off bears, hummingbirds, over-eager gnats and ravaging timber-wolves with relative ease while they continued on to finish their quest (she utterly insisted. Seriously, after coming all that way?!? Come on!) And when they returned victorious, it was decided that another cache should be created to commemorate the day.
And thus was born Team Gimpy's Downfall. Because acquaintences are a dime a dozen, but friends who'll help you in your time of need AND tease you so you don't feel so bad are absolutely priceless.
This cache is a small, relatively easy cache to find; but please take care with your vehicles and the terrain! We suggest that you take a look at the Wonderful Cache, GC2FZZ, and follow the waypoints listed there; you'll find Team Gimpy's Downfall on the way. Please note: 4WD is strongly, strongly suggested!
.
Team Gimpy consists of the following: SchnauzerQueen, WeenieQueen, leeny_c, JNSbullet,
Team 2002, Blue Lobo Luna, Black_Cat, FLG_Mtn_Hkrs, John,
and Ysabet, who thanks them all very much indeed.
Congrats to cwgrizz for FTF!
AND!
Thanks to rockdawg350 for replacing the cache when it was carried away by a flood!
