The North Branch of the Riwaka River receives lots of visitors. What of the South Branch - - - Or Left Branch as the sign calls it? I drove up here to take a look and decided to hide a cache while I was here.
Be aware that turning could be an issue near GZ, though a gate further on was unlocked when I was here. An easy-turn parking spot has been waypointed.
Actually FTFer, Rangi says it's public road for quite a few km after the gate.
