Welcome to Ness Country Park
Ness Country Park is 45 hectares of mixed semi natural woodland situated in the sheltered Burntollet Valley. This park also includes riverside walks, wildlife ponds and a visitor centre where you can view an exhibition on woodland biodiversity.
The park extends along both sides of the Burntollet River and joins Ness and Ervey Woods. You can enjoy beautiful scenery and tranquil walks throughout the woodland all year round.
This cache is to take you to the start of the Ervey Wood past a couple of wildlife ponds and meadows.
Due to the natural hazards please keep an extra eye on the younger cachers near the ponds and the river.
The suggested parking less than a 10 minute walk along gravel tracks. Theres a couple of benches along the way to sit and take in the wildlife. There is also plenty of picnic tables close to the visitor center, which has toilet facilities.
