· Lespezi Peak is a mountain peak in the Fagaras Mountains, the-4 th in Romania, sometimes considered a double peak with Călţun, Lespezi has an altitude of 2522 meters. It is recognized by its massiveness, like a wall, sharp and difficult to reach. At its base is Călţun, a glacial lake, where you can camp. (3h hike from Balea Lake) Do not wash or bathe in the lake, the water is for drinking!
· One of the most comon access way to the top is from the south-west on a route thru Strunga Doamnei, the same thrail that goes to Negoiu, but at half way you take the trail that goes down the hill and turn left, then you will face a harsh climb to the top. Right before you reach the peak on the right you will see Lake Vidraru. (this hike is not easy it takes 2.5-3h from Caltun lake, make sure you have at least 1.5l of water/person)
· The view from the top is exceptional, you can see Negoiu, Laitel, Vanatoarea lui Buteanu, Vista Mare and Moldoveanu, but if you look down, just below, you will see Lake Călţun. It is an impressive peak.If you go early in the morning you can see wild animals: black goats and marmots. If you want to go from Balea Lake to Lespezi pick and back in one day it would take about 12h
· Warning: this box is located in highly alpine isolated area and it presumes intense effort and subsequent mountaineering experience. Stay away from the edge.

· Vârful Lespezi este un vârf montan din Masivul Făgăraș, al-4-lea Din Romania, considerat uneori un vârf dublu împreună cu vârful Călțun, având altitudinea de 2.522 metri. Este recunoscut prin masivitatea sa, este abrupt ca un zid, ascutit si dificil de accesat. La poalele sale se află lacul glaciar Călțun, unde se poate campa (drumetie de 3h de la Lacul Balea). Nu va spălaţi sau scăldaţi în lac, din el se bea apă!
Una din variantele accesului spre vârf se face pe partea sud-vestică pe un traseu ce pleacă din strunga Doamnei spre Negoiu, coboară în vale si face stânga, apoi se urcă abrupt pană pe varf. Când ajungeţi în şa, chiar aporoape de vârf în partea dreaptă veţi vedea lacul Vidraru. (acest traseu este unul dificil, de la Caltun pana pe varf se ajunge in 2.5-3h, nu plecati fara cel putin 1.5 l de apa )
· Vederea de pe vârf este una excepțională, se vede Negoiu, Laițel, dar si Vânătoarea lui Buteanu, Viştea Mare şi Moldoveanu, dar dacă vă uitaţi în jos, chiar sub voi veți vedea Lacul Călțun. Este un varf impresionant. Daca pleci dimineata poti vedea capre negre si marmote.Dava vrei sa mergi de la Balea pe Lespezi si inapoi intr-o singura zi, ar fi un traseu de 12h

Atentie: aceasta cutie se gaseste intr-o zona alpina izolata si presupune efort intens si experienta montana adecvata pentru a ajunge la locatie, de asemenea nu va apropiati de margini.
