Lady Anne's Highway: View of Moorlands Traditional Cache
Lady Anne's Highway: View of Moorlands

Part of the Highway series, a steep mile from parking.
Lady Anne's Highway offers views of lots of moorland, and you will see grouse-shooting butts nearby, but the name and location is really intended to draw your attention to the large house opposite, where Prince Charles used to stay in his younger days. William and Harry have also visited here, and the young bridesmaid (Grace) at William's wedding was the granddaughter of the owner of the estate.
There are a couple of Buttertubs-style pot holes nearby, so do take care with children, but the shake-hole near to the cache has a good solid base. The safest approach is from the far side, away from the Highway. The cache is behind a stone.
